For alternatives in the neighbouring towns, Taxi Vilanova RB has 4.9 from 286 reviews and Ribes Taxi has 4.9 from 179 reviews and names the airport, Sitges and Vilanova on its website.

Is Sitges in the Barcelona metropolitan tariff?

No, Sitges is outside the metropolitan area, so the intercity tariff applies to trips to Barcelona and the airport. The IMET says its urban tariffs apply to the metropolitan area and that trips starting or ending outside it use the Generalitat's intercity tariffs. What should you book in summer or at night?

Book ahead in summer and on festival weekends. With only four companies based in the town, the rest of the supply comes from Vilanova and Ribes and takes a few minutes longer. Six companies state 24-hour service on their websites, but that is no substitute for a booking. For an early flight, confirm the pickup time the evening before and give your real train or flight time.

How do you get to Sitges without a taxi?

The simplest alternative is the train, and the taxi stop sits right beside the station. Because the official stop is next to the station, a common plan is to take the train to Sitges and a taxi for the last stretch to a hotel or rental flat, which keeps the fare to a short urban ride. If you arrive from the airport with heavy bags, a direct taxi avoids a change of transport, which is where the price above becomes worth comparing with the time saved.

For trips in the other direction, the same tariff logic applies from Vilanova or Ribes: the kilometre price is the intercity one, the airport supplement is €4.60, and a telephone booking adds €2.25 according to the 2026 list. Ask the company whether that notice charge is included in the figure it quotes.
